Buglist

Sadly, there are one or two imperfections in jBrowse. Here are the ones we know about:

'Auto-lookup selected word' does not work inside a frameset

If you highlight text that is inside a frame in a web page, jBrowse will not automatically look it up, even if 'Auto-lookup selected word' is on. This is a known problem which will be fixed in time.

'Definitions: Look up English words' works after a fashion, but chooses completely ridiculous meanings for most words.

Ahem, yes, well. jBrowse is focused more on helping you to read Japanese pages, so the lookup of English words in a page is pretty worthless. The structure of the dictionary we use makes it difficult to do this right. Currently, the option to look up English words in a page is more of a curiosity than an English -> Japanese translation feature.
